A Chip in the Sugar by Alan Bennett
On March 16, in Stanwick Village Hall, local professional actor Tim Cole gave a brilliant performance of Graham in Alan Bennett's Monologue, A Chip in The Sugar.The audience both laughed and at times felt near to tears as we were propelled through the various characterisations so cleverly acted by Tim. This was followed by a substantial two course supper.

2012 Events
Evening of Local Talent
There was a full house for our Evening of Local Talent when we were entertained by a promising young clarinetist, who played an excerpt from Mozart's Clarinet concerto and children who particpated in story telling with a local writer. This was interspered with some professional inputs from cabaret to Willow tit-Willow from the Mikado. A local choir entertained as did a ukulele group and we had a rendition of Scott Joplin's Ragtime. An evening of fun, laughter and some serious moments.

Races Day
Our stall at the Races Day sold home made chutneys, jams, postcards of the Church, Old English bluebells, wild bird seed and bric a brac. We raised £80 for our next project to improve the lighting in the Church. Many thanks to all our supporters.
