Silent Auction - raised £877
On a sweltering Saturday 13th July people took refuge in the cool church where they were able to peruse more than 100 donations while partaking of the refreshments on offer. When the bell rang they started using their secret number to make their bids and outbid the competition. This was the fun part. At 8.30pm as the bell tolled the end of the auction, and after a bit of an admin delay (apologies) the winners paid and collected their items.
A big thank you to all those who came along to support us.

Green Welly Gardener's Question Time - raised £339
On Monday 29th October 2012 in the Village Hall we presented, courtesy of BBC Radio Northampton a “Green Welly Gardeners Question Time”.
The Panel consisted of the BBC’s Johnnie Amos along with Kathy Brown, Becky Peace, Alasdair Peak and Nick Warliker.
Unfortunately the only mutually convenient date fell in the local half term holiday so we did miss out with some ticket sales but even so we sold near 60 tickets, made £340.60 for our roofing fund and had an extremely enjoyable evening.

The winner is Judy Dewing who receives £25 and the two runners up are May Lovell and Sheila Newitt who will each receive £5.
The standard was very high, with the winner submitting an all-correct entry. Very best thanks to Joy Weighton who compiled our quiz, and to all those who bought a copy and thus helped in our efforts to raise £60,000 plus for repair of the nave roof.
